Sunday, May 11, 2008 Genting Trip with mr bf! =)  the road are cleared when we depart.. suddenly it rained for 5mins in MY.. smooth journey, no jams.. =)  we passed through many such gantries.. seems like ERP we have in SG..  Finally after 7hrs of Bus Ride, we arrived!!!!! our hotel covered partially covered with clouds  the model of Genting Highland..  Saw this model at the hotel area.. so Beautiful !! i tink they have some events going on about wedding at the convention..  We have to take a queue number to check in to the hotel.. waited about half an hour or more.. At the end of the day, I saw the number reached 1000+ imagine how many people come each day!!!  Our hotel room.. before heading to the room, we bought our late lunch from MARYBROWN!! we slacked awhile and then went exploring.. **oh yah, the food there is so damn not nice and expensive except fast food. we once at our dinner, mixed veg rice. 2 share cost us RM39!!!!! because each dishes we add cost at least RM5. And its so damn saltish!! Thus, most of our food we ate are fast food. Its still the nicest afterall**  We requested a hill-view room .. When we stepped into the room, we went to take a look out of our room. To our surprised, we saw NOTHING but all white. We thought they gave us the wrong room.. We continued take our lunch first as we were hungry after the ride.. after that, we take a look again..and we can see slight greenish thing shown in the picture.. Thus, we found out it was actually the clouds!!!   the view gets better and better as time passed.. morning of the second day.. its more clear.. in the middle of the night, its red clouds outside the window!! its very cold in the middle of the night according to mr bf.. i'm still okie as I'm wearing jacket and covered with blanket to sleep.. hehhehe..     the view from our room, 2nd and 3rd morning. so NICE!! what we did most ?? going to the Casino, looking at people play card games, roulette, tai sai n more.. seeing the banker sweep all the chips off.. my god !!! and also playing jackpot.. won about RM200 first day, second day lost about RM80?? we walked around first world plaza shopping around.. we watched movie on the 1st night.. IRONMAN~~~  it only cost RM17 per pax (about SGD8) inclusive of 1coke,1popcorn,1snack each.. they have special osim chairs but its full.. we don't have a chance to sit it =( we went to take the cable car on the 2nd day..   Cable Car Station and ticket. cable car ride only cos RM20 2ways.. which is SGD5 for 2 ways! cheap!!!       during the cable car trip, you can see how steep the hill is.. its really VERY STEEP.. we can also see the clouds, white clouds, grey clouds.. if not you can see nothing at all..just a small little light.. cos everything is covered by the clouds.. when you can't see whats going on infront, its scary !  the cable car comes to this bus terminal which has bus to KL.. but we found it too late.. on the 2nd day 5plus.. if we were to take the bus to KL, takes about 1 hr.. i dun think we have the time to catch the last cable car.. So...we head back to hotel after buying some goodie by cable car.. Thus, We went back.. rest awhile in the room and then off to have our dinner and then to casino AGAIN.. till bout 12MN den went back to hotel.. as it get lates, the crowd came.. 3rd day came..we are going back already.. leaving this cooling place.. =( before that we checked out, went walking around.. taking photos..and slacked at starbucks while waiting for time.. we dun bear to leave the cooling place =(( you will never feel like coming back when the weather there is so good.. but the weather here is so HOT!    oh yah the place is about 16-17 degree only!!!   our bus back..  bye Genting..!!  overall, we enjoyed the trip with each other companion =)
